Oat bran is produced by first grinding sound, pre-selected kilned oat groats and then separating the resulting oat meal into refined oat flour and oat bran. Grain Millers Oat Bran has an ideal ratio of soluble, primarily beta-glucans, to insoluble high proteins, dietary fibers, vitamins and minerals. The high water absorption and fine particle size allows for greater crumb moistness in baked goods and other food where the presence and natural flavor of oat bran is preferred.

This change is driven by functional performance attributes of finished products manufactured from oats known to have been treated with glyphosate and by customer demand. This policy does not suggest any health or food safety concerns as reviewed and regulated by both the US FDA and/or CFIA/Health Canada.
